All In Good Time

Little Thoughts For Big Days
Little Thoughts For Big Days

Ok, so you’ve got more than enough on your mind and on your plate for now. Where do you turn when it appears that all turns seem left and not right? Doesn’t God hear and see that our faith is real? Why then, does this go on forever without some answers somewhere? Yeah, life is so daily and the battles rage and the sickness lingers, and the broken flounder and the heart breaks, and the finances press in, and the deadlines crowd and oh yeah, the pressure of it all is on overload and it’s all on you! Faint of heart, take heed ‘cuz In God’s economy these things hold blessing but it’s so difficult to find them when the mind is dwelling on the hardship of it all. In Psalm 121: 1 the Psalmist prays the prayer that we need to pray, “I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; From where shall my help come? My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth.…

So it’s time once again for complete surrender and giving up and a giving over to the One in control. The Sovereign God who really knows what’s up and what’s going on in your little world of huge trouble. He cares, He really does and He’s there to take the whole weight off your shoulders and give you rest for that troubled heart, confused mind and beautiful soul. Take Him up on His offer to help. Give it over yet again and walk away from the chaos, knowing it’s all left in good hands. He works with precision and order and He won’t answer a moment too soon or a moment too late. As a matter of fact His answer might come weeks later and so far removed from our prayer that in our humanness, we forget and think it’s coincidence. So be alert! It will all be perfected, and just at the proper time! So ~ keep your eyes open for the little things and miracles along the way, because even the smallest things that could easily go unnoticed are the blessings hidden in the hardship. There’s blessing in brokenness, so be broken, but find blessing there.

Humpty Dumpty

_DSC0037

So hey, it’s a big world out there and it’s a fragile world with a lot of broken pieces scattered in all directions. A lot of broken people and a lot of Humpty Dumptys that have fallen to their despair from walls of pride. Some beautiful souls have fallen, paralyzed by fear and insecurities and some broken and beautiful souls, have fallen into temptation, becoming prey to the world and present circumstances. So many broken hearts and hurts in relationships stand in need of mending and repair. So much brokenness ~ so much pain; Yet all the king’s horses and all the king’s men can’t put them back together again. The souls at stake are our souls, precious souls and beautiful souls and some are the innocent souls of children caught in the cross fire and strife of it all. What are their options? How did it all begin and where does it all end? Will it ever end? Tender and compassionate hearts can help but it’s only our all-knowing God and the One who specializes in transforming hearts and lives and making beauty from ashes can lead you through it! It took some time to get there so it will take some time to get out but a decision to walk with God in obedience is your best option. We don’t have to be perfect to be blessed and we don’t have to be perfect to be used by Him. So for those failures that haunt your soul ~ give them over and choose today to make a difference regardless of your circumstances. God is in the business of getting us out of deep trouble and leading us into the safety of His home and the shelter of His arms. Rest there ~ with Him and find peace for this troubled hour and troubled heart.

The Sovereign, omnipotent King and the one True God ~ creator of life itself, has all the brilliant credentials and the awesome mastermind to put you back together again. Begin now! Be clay in His hands! Walk with Him and listen to His counsel.

Isaiah 61: 1-3
The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion– to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of His splendor.

Just Believe It

Little Thoughts For Big Days
Little Thoughts For Big Days

So for A new day believe it! That’s all, Just believe God cares enough for you to fix your brokenness ~ but you have to give it to Him. He won’t just take you in for repair without your say so or your knowledge. He doesn’t really work that way! I know there’s a lots of talk about how much control we don’t have and we know it don’t we? There’s so much we can’t fix but we have the power to turn ourselves in to God’s hands for divine repair. If we don’t He most likely won’t, even though He graces us in all and through all of our pitiful states, ‘cuz He’s so full of mercy.

Turn yourself in! He’ll do the rest because His grace is amazing and His love reaches beyond all boundaries for us. And when we don’t deserve it, He’s there with hope for another new day! So in your brokenness, just believe it! Just believe He’s alive and well and real just for you! There’s hope in that.

Have a nice day animated rose

Your Present Moment

Little Thoughts For Big Days
Little Thoughts For Big Days

Our omnipresent God dwells everywhere at all times but He dwells in our present moment and the key to knowing God’s “Perfect Peace” is to live in that present moment with Him, trusting His goodness for right now, this minute. To trust that God is good, and that all He does is good for you right now!!! Although He had a plan, even in our past, He doesn’t dwell there and nor should we.  If we let our minds carry us back to that place of reruns, we tend to focus on negatives with its pain, failure, fear and discouragement.  It’s a place of bondage and there’s no freedom there! It’s where we live if we harbor an unforgiving spirit ~ “in the past”, replaying the same old offense, and the same old hurt, over and over and over again. We won’t find God’s peace there in that bitter place because bitterness and anger bring about despair and a feelings of resentment, hopelessness and ruin.  There’s no peace present there.

Yeah ~ we can savor its warm memories of good times and glean a few valuable nuggets of wisdom from past experiences and God desires that, but then His call on our lives is to move on with Him one step at a time into His new graces, mercies and faithfulness. We can trust God and experience His perfect peace in our present moment, but if our thoughts wander with fearful imaginations and worry into the future~ well, there’s no peace there either. A fearful imagination full of anxiety and worry, doesn’t see an omnipresent, all-powerful, all sovereign God and His peace is absent from the mind, the heart and that precious soul of yours in the anxious moments. Trust and fear, peace and bitterness ~ well, they can’t dwell together. They mix like oil and water ~ they don’t mix at all!

So ~ beautiful soul, live for now, for this sweet and precious moment of life! Breathe in the grace of the moment, even if it involves pain, sorrow or difficulty. Friend, if He holds the song sparrow in its delicate flight, He’s got you and He holds you when you rise and when you fall. You never slip too far for grace to find you! When the mind is steadfast on Christ, His peace will embrace you and fill you ~ His grace will catch you, sustain you and carry you because He is good and He is just and you can trust Him for that.  That’s what He does!  I love how He does it.
