So you messed up and feel really bad about it? Maybe a fit of anger, a bout with worry, an impatient moment or a fall back into temptation! Only you and God know and He is offering grace for that! Are you willing to accept it? Then do! And remember He’s not offering grace for a repeat on it but just for this one time, so we can’t have the idea that we can mess up again just because we’re covered by His grace. Some things are just too difficult to give up and so we secretly hang on to them but He understands! He really does! He knows the struggle of our humanity and how easy it is to succumb to it’s pitfalls and to fall into the traps so readily made available to us. Our weaknesses are just so relentlessly there all the time and If it happens again His grace will meet you there as always, although His desire and His grace is sufficient to totally free us once and for all from whatever has us bound! Accept His grace for that too! His grace totally exceeds the darkness of this wretched world. We have to want it though so decide today to renew your heart and your mind with His help. Change directions in your mind, heart and soul and be freed from the pitfalls that take you down!

Remember Joseph? He was rejected by his brothers and abandoned. Later, falsely accused and imprisoned by his employer! Forsaken and in prison, living the life of a loser, we might think if we looked through eyes of judgement rather than “Grace.”

Life was so unfair yet Joseph, rather than wallowing in self pity rallied to become a trusted leader in the jail. You see, he was forgotten by others but not by God. God had a plan through it all and Joseph gained unmerited favour in his captor’s eyes, was released from his prison and elevated to the second highest in command over Egypt! It was all in God’s plan! His grace sustained Joseph through the deep loss and pain of life.

When life hurts, walk with God through it. Make the right choices and let His grace release you from the prison that holds you in bondage, whatever prison that might be. He gives strength, grace, healing and mercy for the rejection, abandonment and all the unfairness in life. He will meet you where you are to shower you with unmerited favor and bring you through victoriously.

“Be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus…endure hardship with us like a good soldier of Christ Jesus.”

I chose this picture because it’s a bit blurry and depicts our life when we can’t forgive. An unforgiving spirit takes our life out of focus and concentration becomes difficult, as we think of no one but ourselves. Our pity parties don’t do us any good and we become our own worst enemy as we go into hiding, dodging bullets and seeking revenge! Consequently we become ruined and destroyed creatures and we have no one to blame but ourselves because of our over reactions. The irony of it all is that our accuser or offender doesn’t seem to care, which only adds fuel to the fire of revenge.

Friends, forgive the hurt by accepting it, taking the loss for it, giving grace and moving on as you begin to focus once again on life and the beauty of it that surrounds you. Enjoy life without the offender’s control over you.

Ephesians 4:31-32

There’s something very sweet about God’s grace. It graces you with forgiveness for your past. His mercy is available and ready to meet you where you are and His grace is ready to forget what you’ve done and allow you to move forward. Simply ask Him to forgive you and free you from the sin of the past and the haunting guilt that keeps you from scaling new heights.

God has you covered and He delights in helping you find your way. It doesn’t mean we won’t pay some consequences for our wrong, but He’s faithful to weave golden threads through it all and make it beautiful after all.

That’s what He does! I love how He does it.
Immerse yourself in His grace!
Be graced today!
