Hatch
It was so exciting to find the only Monarch egg that I’ve been able to find this season, hatching right before my eyes, so I quick put the camera on video to catch the moments. It’s quite interesting to watch this tiny, (almost invisible to the human eye) little caterpillar make it’s debute into a pretty rough and tumble world, where it’s got to bloom where it’s planted, so to speak, fighting off all sorts of predators and enemies before it will eventually find it’s wings. The Monarchs are scarce this year in many places, and the milkweed dry and diseased, so this was a precious find for a Monarch lover such as myself. This little one is safe and sound in a mesh nursery away from the foes that it might entangle in the wild outdoors. Enjoy the little star of “Hatch”
Taken in his butterfly house ~ The little star of “Hatch” is coming along nicely and growing like a weed (no pun intended). He is one long, lean caterpillar. Since he did so well starring in his debut show with 55,729 people reached and 17k views I though I’d reward him with his own milkweed plant enhanced with some sweet blooms that grew in my garden. He loved them and was devouring a floral meal a couple of hours ago. He seems long to me so I hope everything goes well.
One of God’s small, yet most amazing creations is the miracle and transformation of the butterfly from tiny egg to wings. Here Hatch has been snuggled into his beautiful, jade chrysalis trimmed with gold for about two weeks and is about to emerge with his gorgeous monarch wings and take flight to Mexico. How amazing is this? ❤

Parents are advised in scripture to begin training children in the things of God from their early days onward, because it establishes a firm foundation on which they can build their lives. As parents, we are to Saturate their lives with the things of God through example, teaching, prayer and the Word of God. We are to impress upon their mind the salvation story that will stay with them for the rest of their lives. Yeah, we are, and that example simply means just that, how we live!
It pains me to see the choices that kid’s make and yes, sometimes adult compromise and friends lead them down the garden path of pleasure, quickly leading them astray and away from the truth that they once knew and maybe even treasured in their heart in their younger years. Even when they’ve been raised in a Christian home, sometimes kids just have to try their wings and go their own way for a time. There’s nothing any more difficult for a parent to watch than the consequences of children fulfilling their passionate pleasures, even though they know better. There is nothing like the school of hard knocks to refresh our memories of what we know to be right and wrong and thankfully God gets our attention when we refuse to live in obedience to Him. He may allow very difficult times, but He will get our attention. It may not be pretty, but it will be perfect and just the right thing, at just the right time.
It’s what we’ve taught our children that comes back to soften their hearts in their down and out moments…If they’ve not had the spiritual teaching and training or the example of godly living, life becomes seemingly futile without hope during the consequences of sinful living. Oh how we need to teach them the things of God, and pray for our kids that God will fulfill His purpose in their lives. If you’ve a child that has gone astray, You have to trust the Sovereign God to take that child under His wing of protection and then keep praying….Claim His promises and watch for the victory.

No Tricks Please!
False prophets abound today in our present day Babylon don’t they? Giving us false direction, preaching from pulpits and selling books that lead us astray. Fortune tellers make their fortune preying on those who seek their advice and counsel when those who seek their counsel should be seeking out the words of the one true God of Creation and the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob. Seeking the God who led His people down through the pages of biblical history, protecting His lineage in order to bring the perfect plan of salvation for a lost world, into the big picture. Everything He allowed for His people was for an ultimate purpose to fulfil His plan and make it happen. He did it in spite of those that came against Him! Yeah, today, He’s still sovereign and in control! He hasn’t changed. He still has a plan for your life, and for a messed up world, when the leadership of our countries is at an all time low, He still has a plan for good and not disaster. A plan for your future all wrapped up in grace to propel you forward with hope. Seek Him!
He gave words of warning to His people, through His prophet, Jeremiah, whom He called, to not listen to the lies of false prophets but to seek Him and Him alone. Bonus on that ~ if they and ~ if we today, truly search for Him we will find Him. Take heart in this moment! Stay away from those that trick and tickle your ears with pleasantries and prey on your vulnerability with lies! Today ~ you beautiful soul, Seek the LORD of Heaven’s armies, and walk in the Truth!

Perfection Not Necessary
So, you know you don’t have to be perfect right? You don’t have to be supermom, or superstar or anything like that. All you have to be is you, all wrapped up in God’s love and wrapped so tightly in His grace and stamped with His mercy that you couldn’t bear to be without! Oh He’s got your story, your life and your imperfection and He knows just who you are and how you think. He understands your feelings and your thoughts so well, yeah, even so much better than you do.
So hey you! Relax and rest in His ever-loving favor and tender mercies. They’re new each morning you know. And find the beauty in your moments of imperfection and mistakes and failures. They’re not all that bad and they’re not all wrong, not all the time. And what is, can be forgiven and will be forgiven if we give it over and move on forgetting what is behind.to press on to higher heights. So you see, beautiful soul, imperfections or not, you are beautiful just as you are. Don’t ever doubt it!
