All Gone Wrong Days

So maybe your day isn’t going so great and it feels like it’s one big heap of nonsense that no one even cares about. What do you do with that? What to do when the good ole days have kicked up their heels and jollied off south to the sunshine and fun-shine and left you in the heaps of winter doldrums feeling a bit shabby and just not up to snuff?

Maybe there’s been a conundrum of ifs ands and buts and you’ve played 20 million questions and not gotten any answers because there are no answers to get!

Everybody else is right and no one even hears what you have to say, nor do they care if you have anything to say at all. It’s a crazy mixed-up life and your day has just toppled off the wall much like a Humpty Dumpty. Yeah, we’ve all had them, haven’t we? We’ve all been there, haven’t we? We’ve all witnessed firsthand the downside of difficult and the hard-pressed pages of hardship.

Beautiful you, through it all, stay true to the right things. Don’t let a downcast spirit, crush your day or dictate your feelings. You can know the sun shines from the heavens on you, and even through dark clouds of gray, God sends His grace and favour from His heavenly throne to your soul.

Get away with the God who cares deeply about you and even though you feel alone and isolated He’s crazy about who you are. You are made in His image and that’s His brilliant creation and perfection, personified in you. It’s no small matter. It’s who you are!

David knew how perfect God’s way is when he penned Psalm 18:30, 32, 33, 34,

“As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the Lord is flawless. He is a shield for all who take refuge in Him…It is God who arms me with strength and makes my way perfect. He makes my feet like the feet of a deer, and He enables me to stand on the heights. He trains my hands for battle;…You give me the shield of victory.”

Awesome words from David to us on this all-gone-wrong day. So, beautiful one, get away with Jesus, even for a few minutes. Soak in His grace and learn from His laws. They will revive your soul and bring joy to your heart. It’s a promise from His heart to yours.

Perfection Not Necessary

So, you know you don’t have to be perfect right? You don’t have to be supermom, or superstar or anything like that. All you have to be is you, all wrapped up in God’s love and wrapped so tightly in His grace and stamped with His mercy that you couldn’t bear to be without! Oh He’s got your story, your life and your imperfection and He knows just who you are and how you think. He understands your feelings and your thoughts so well, yeah, even so much better than you do.
So hey you! Relax and rest in His ever-loving favor and tender mercies. They’re new each morning you know. And find the beauty in your moments of imperfection and mistakes and failures. They’re not all that bad and they’re not all wrong, not all the time. And what is, can be forgiven and will be forgiven if we give it over and move on forgetting what is behind.to press on to higher heights. So you see, beautiful soul, imperfections or not, you are beautiful just as you are. Don’t ever doubt it!

“Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been perfected, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have laid hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize of God’s heavenly calling in Christ Jesus.…”

So, what do you need from God today? Peace maybe? Well dear one, You are blessed because He’s promised to give it! John 14:27 reminds us of His words, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” Beautiful soul, just now ~ step into it in your troubled mind and bask in it’s warm stability. It’s all over you, warming your innermost soul with radiance as you allow His peace to embrace the fears that overwhelm your anxious, beautiful mind.
Maybe it’s strength you need today for the heights of the impossible? Well you’re blessed because He, Himself, “is” strength and He’s strength for those impossible moments too. Those things that press in without a speck of hope in our own strength, are covered under His. His very presence brings authority and power into our fragility and into our fight for life. God reminds us in Paul’s words to us in 2 Corinthians 12:9, “And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for you: for my strength is made perfect in weakness” Yeah, for that weakest part of our being, He is strength and He is perfect strength. Know that He can use you in your weakness for His glory and He doesn’t need our perfection. Not even for a second. Yeah, we can fall and we can fail and He can still use it and us and He will just as He did for Paul. Wait on Him and rest in Him! Isaiah 40:31, packs a powerful promise for God’s people. It’s our wheaties for the day and our power packed vitamin when we face the boot camps on our difficult journeys. Ahh, take it in and make it yours today …

” … they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”

Oh what promises are ours from the God of creation, from the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. We dare not brush them off or take them lightly, but today, let’s jump in head-first and take God up on His divine offers of peace and strength and whatever else you need for right now.

So when your faith doesn’t seem to be enough to move God’s hand into action, and when it seems that He turns a cold shoulder to your request, maybe it’s not that you lack faith at all, but just that your timing is a bit off. God’s timing is precise for exquisite perfection right down to the mi nut details. Each of His works are a masterpiece. His ways far beyond our thinking. Every little detail is well planned and brilliantly laid out for the very best outcome. His engineering skills are the top of the top of the line because He creates from nothing; In His holy perfection He can’t make a mistake, so trust Him to get the job done in just the right time and in just the right way. So when it seems your prayers don’t measure up to move the hand of God into action ~ just rest your weary mind and remember his faithfulness in the past. Your final chapter isn’t finished yet and most likely there’s a whole heap of good stuff going on behind the scenes that you know nothing of, and couldn’t orchestrate if you tried.

Persevere in consistent, faithful prayer for His will to be done and just leave it with Him.

Jeremiah 29:11
