So today, as you search your heart, look around every nook and cranny with hope! Seek it through tightly, closed doors, relationships gone bad, unfaithful friends, under garbage, in a messed up world, through illness, through hardship, and through suffering! Yes, beautiful soul, go deeper with God and look deeper to find hope through all the ‘stuff’ that plays on your emotions and twists your mind with that dreadful worry. Find hope ~ God works through it! When we see ‘it’ Half empty it’s a “no-trust” mind pressure and a way that we perceive things; a game we play with our minds ~ always there for high alert ~ no rest, no peace, just doubt and worry! When we see ‘it’ “Half full” it gives a different slant to the story, ‘cuz half full is hope – ful and reason to anticipate the best of things to come for what God has in store for His own. His blessings don’t come in half empty but always full with anticipation of the next miracle for the next moment. His blessings are new every morning and His loyalty and faithfulness to His people are out of this world. His desire is to bless with the best ~ the best for you! Trust him for that and enjoy a Half -full but hopeful day with God.

Lamentations 3: 22, 24
The LORD’S lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, For His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. “The LORD is my portion,” says my soul, “Therefore * I have hope in Him.”

So when you’re washed up on shore in a heap of debris and broken shell, and when there’s nothing left but empty, you’re still sitting in God’s grace ‘cuz His grace runs on empty! He gives something for nothing all the time and when we’re so undeserving of even that next breath, He makes it happen just because He’s God and just because He’s all about you. His love is lavish and His mercy extensive and it’s all over you in that heap of brokenness. So, when there’s no where to go….where to from here? A good choice is right into His arms of protection! Ask Him to fix it and guide you in your next thought, your next choice and your next step and know that’s it’s all ok ~ it’s alright to be empty and broken ‘cuz that’s where we can be repaired and refilled and recycled for His glory. You ~ broken, beautiful soul, are right where He wants you. So begin today to reprogram with the One who made you. Oh there might be loss in the healing and restoring process but growing closer to God through it all is our greater fortune! Rest for now in His healing presence and trust Him to fix it….

So here we sit, in our human frailness, immersed in imperfections, weaknesses and physical ailments. Hey, you’re convinced you were hiding under the table when the talents were handed out? As a matter of fact you’re just sure that’s what happened. You’ve made more than your fair share of mistakes and the failures? Well, they come with built in weights to drag you down and put you on hold, without any hope of rising!

Sometimes we can be so wrapped up in ourselves and our situations that we can’t see past the pity parties and the barriers of “Why Me” into our potential. You ~ beautiful soul, can soar if you desire! Default to God.com.now no computer needed ~ and see how much power you have at your disposal? Social media either requires a phone or a computer but not the believer! Not to connect to our sovereign God Most High. He’s just there ~ right there in your presence and He’s given the promise to His own that if we wait on Him, we’ll receive an inner strength and an ability to soar like the eagles in and through our situations and over our limited mentality. What an awesome promise and what a mind boggling thought to pull us out of the despairing pit of “Why me” and take us into the next moment ~ the next day, the week and the month ahead.

Down and out because of weaknesses and failure? ~ No way, not you! “Note to self” ~ God is with you and on your side! He has your back and your problem! Your weaknesses may discourage you but they are His delight. He wants you empty ~ empty of ‘Self’ and that’s where He works to bring you into the fullness of His purpose in your life and make it all count for now and for eternity. Trust Him for that. All that human frailty is your ticket to an awesome power that only God gives to His own. So, beautiful soul, enough of “Why Me?” Get before the Lord and look up into the heavens to see His majesty and authority in your world. It’s all yours when you delight in Him and talk with Him and seek His divine counsel and walk in His divine way. So for now ~ just wait on Him and let Him do the work in you!

In A Stew?

So you’ve worried yourself into a stew and now look at you at the end of the day. What can you do? You’re exhausted and turned upside down, inside out and wrong side in. Has it helped? Face it beautiful soul, nothing was accomplished by your fretting because nothing ever is. Jesus Himself, told us so in His own words in Matthew 6:27, when He asked His listeners a pointed question ~ “Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?” So the words from our Savior and Lord ring in our ears and we still don’t get it because we just can’t turn that issue over and relinquish control. Somehow we so falsely believe that worry is power over our problem and so we keep the stew a bubblin’ and the energy levels drop dead at our feet as we drag our worries to every corner of the planet. Our enemy is out to bring us to defeat and wherever we go, we’ll find that crazy worry just beats us there to beat us up, to laugh in our faces and defy our trust in the God we say we believe in and the God who cares so deeply for us.

Oh these moments are moments for your beautiful soul to take a stand against the enemy and inhale God’s grace and let the depth and the height of His sovereign power sink into your heart and mind. These are the moments to reach out to the Lord of our lives, our Salvation Giver, our Provider and our Sustainer through all things. These are the moments to just fall into simple child – like trust and trust Him! Cast your burden on the God who has your back. Nothing will touch you that He hasn’t ordered and if He orders it and brings you to it, You can know, that you know, that you know, that He will bring you through it!

1 Peter 5: 6 7 “Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time, casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you. Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.…
