Some days the pain goes way deep and the hurt is really real and really hard and the heart hurts and the head hurts and the soul cries and the tears flow and the days are just so overwhelming.

In these anxious filled, difficult moments, we have an Author writing our lives with pen in one nail-pierced hand and a divine paintbrush of grace-filled red in the other. His blood was shed for us and yeah, He paints our story beautifully now because of it. He’s our Saviour and He’s made a way for us to make it through this hard place! Only because of the cross, His death, and His life can we have hope and do this hard thing, defying us and staring us in the face. So whatever it is He’s written and writing and hand-painted for your story, you gotta know He’s got this and His sustaining grace covers it for us. So beautiful you with beautiful soul, At such a time as this, He is our Healer, our Protector, and our Provider through it all and all the way to the cross He proved it. Now, just hand those anxious thoughts, that fear, disappointment, and deep hurt over into the pierced hands of the Saviour; the one and only Author of our faith who paints our story so perfectly; so beautifully perfect for us at such a time as this! It’s ok then to just breathe and rest in His care and safekeeping and know the promise of Romans 8: 28 is Truth!
“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”

Psalm 46; 1,2,3,9,10

So sometimes, just being honest here, we have to say we don’t have the faintest idea of what to do next. It just all came at once and now the mind is full of conundrum all on its way to nowhere. We just can’t be all to everyone, and we can’t do all that we want because we can just be so wrapped up so tightly in knots impossible to loosen. Anxiety, sickness, depression, misery, anger, aches and pains, and a whole host of things can hold us down and well ~ we need some kind o
So, then, beautiful soul, get before your Maker and just be honest and ask for that direction! Take those knots into His throne room and lay them down at His feet. The Creator who spoke life into being. You know He’s got the next best move for your steps, and those doors? Well, they’ll open or close at His command if we wait honestly and patiently on Him. You gotta know that! The Psalmist reminds us in Psalm 37:23, “The LORD makes firm the steps of the one who delight in Him;”…..Such an awesome promise to stand those unsure feet on isn’t it? So take delight in our Lord and let Him lead your heart and your mind today into His perfect will and into His perfect plan of action.
Not only do our unsure feet need stability but our unsure hands and efforts need some kind of confirmation that we work in His will. I love the prayer of Moses, a man of God, who led God’s people from slavery in Egypt to Mount Sinai where he received the law and established a covenant with God. In Psalm 90:17, “And may the Lord our God, show us His approval and make our efforts successful.”
