For your doubts today, remember God’s faithfulness in the past! Throughout the pages of scripture He stood behind His promises to His people. He never let them down! He doesn’t today! He won’t let you down! He’s the same still! The sovereign One, who cares deeply and graces unconditionally through our hurts, fears, despairs, disappointments and struggles. Give them to Him without reservation and let Him take them ~ all of them. All the pain, the hurt the brokenness and fragility of your life He desires to mend, to heal to recycle and use for His glory. His recycle program is out of this world. Trust Him for the best outcome and toss your doubts aside. God has it!
Matthew 8:26
“And he said to them, “Why are you afraid, O you of little faith?” Then he rose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.
There is help available for your weary worn soul. You’ve been broken, crushed, dented, tossed aside and damaged in transit in this journey of life and all of its stuff has left you feeling insecure, worthless and of no value! Yes, there is help for that feeling of aloneness and oh so empty feeling. Christ came to offer a heart and soul makeover for that. He came to pick up the pieces for us because He knows that we can’t do it on our own. We’re helpless in the struggle of it all. We don’t even know where to begin to begin again. He’s the God of new beginnings and renewals, and even though you feel like damaged goods, He’s got you and He’s willing to repackage and rebuild and reshape and remould ~ just ask Him to help you with the brokenness ~ to begin the healing. You are valuable and you do matter. Find Him and begin to mend under His divine and meticulous care. He’s the Great Physician and He’s got you covered with His divine mercy and most amazing grace!

A thankful heart may find the good outweighs the bad and that alone is reason to be grateful. Gratitude is the key to joy even if _________ ~ even when _________ ~ fill in the blank. Customize it to you! Remember the Psalmist reminds us in Psalm 22:3 that God inhabits the praises of His people. Offer genuine, sincere praise to the Sovereign One in charge of your life, regardless of your disappointments or downcast spirit. He hasn’t forgotten you or left you alone…..
“But Thou art holy, O Thou that inhabits the praises of Israel.” Friends ~ God lives in our praise, so when we offer it, God is in it!! He’s all over it ~ in us and in the air that surrounds us. Through us, beside us, before us, behind us. He’s there ~ right there in that sincere and genuine praise offering that you offer. No, they aren’t just empty words but God filled worship! Words that stir His awesome power and turn His thoughts towards you and who you intercede for. So turn things around today and say goodbye to the frustrations. Offer praise anyway and watch Him totally move through your circumstances! That’s what He does! I love how he does it!

So many things don’t turn out the way we hope they will or “when” we think they should. It doesn’t make our hope wrong or make it wrong to anticipate the hope of our heart. Nor does it give us the right to give up, or throw in the towel. Neither should “not receiving” what we desire, shake our faith. Our faith is more than our circumstances. It’s more than our heart’s desire. It’s more than our successes and it’s more than the love of our life. ‘Real’ faith is not receiving from God what we want, but it is accepting from God what He gives. When we can get to that point my friend, When we can accept the disappointments as His appointments, then He can begin to show us His plan. Perhaps He’s just ushered you into the real place of His divine purpose. For that reason we have to keep plodding on through the ups and downs of it all!! We have to persevere, keep going ~ strong in the faith…..strengthened in the Hope that we have in Christ. He is victorious!! That victory is ours. Claim it my friend, even when you don’t feel it, or see it. He embraces us with grace for the moment, but that grace dispenses freely on the obedient who follow Him through those extremely tough times.
To persevere means to stay with it, see it through until the end; in the Christian context, it means to hold onto your faith through thick and thin, through every trial, and every storm, to the end of this earthly life. Yeah, it’s true that perseverance is not an easy assignment. In fact, throughout the Bible we see believers subjected to tests of their faith, some of which seem extraordinarily difficult. Abraham told to sacrifice his son, Daniel in the lions’ den, Joseph in prison and Jeremiah in the miry pit are all examples of extreme situations that called for huge faith in God on the part of these believers.
Hebrews 10:36 “Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that He has promised.” It is not enough to have one moment of faith with no growth, no fruit, and no learning, because spiritual fruit is a vital ingredient and cannot be omitted. If we persevere in the faith, we remain in the will of God. Those who do His will, enter His kingdom. Matthew 7:21
