Ok, so yesterday came and went and now a new day begins. Maybe yesterday wasn’t what you expected and maybe it didn’t go as planned and it sure didn’t turn out as you hoped it would. It’s ok because today and tomorrow are new days on a new horizon. New days for new hope to rise up in that soul of yours. New days for the Lord’s new mercies!
They are new every morning you know. And if you breathe into a new day, you can know there are new mercies tucked away just for you, just for the day, just for the moments as they unfold, and the sweet grace that He gives, is immeasurable and it comes along with that. So when the day doesn’t go as you’d hoped, hope in the Lord in another new day!
It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.”
