So, you’ve got a lot on your mind this day and as it draws to a close you wonder, Why this? Why now? What more? ~ and sometimes it seems like all the stuff will never end. Like it will never close the door behind it for good and let you move on. But then, move on to what? There will always be something just waiting for your next journey of spiritual growth. They’re hard times ~ those growth journeys. They’re times of struggle and fear and insecurity and doubt! Oh yes, the doubt is so very real so much of the time on these journeys. These difficult times ~ they just come with the the territory of life itself, and you can know, beautiful soul, that you are beautiful indeed even now, and God cares. He does! Without doubt you can know that He will walk you through it all, whatever it is that torments you today. He went all the way to cross to show that He cares and He won’t let you go now, not ever for a second. He’s got a whole lot of mercy to give and so He does! He formed the mountains and called creation into order. He quiets the raging oceans, so He can quiet your anguished heart. Allow Him to speak peace into the storm of your soul and bring sweet comfort into your fear.
“You faithfully answer our prayer with awesome deeds…..You formed the mountains by Your power and armed Yourself with mighty strength. You quieted the raging oceans…. Those who live at the ends of the earth stand in awe of Your Wonders….You soften the earth with showers….You crown the year with a bountiful harvest. Even the hard pathways overflow with abundance.”
