Oh don’t we all need a big heap of God’s love today? Just to wrap us up tightly and carry us over the rough spots that come along. All the things hoped for seem to transfer to the back burner while things not hoped for nor even asked for come a calling. Yeah, the enemy can throw some pretty difficult stuff into our pathway and it keeps us on our toes for sure and make us wonder how we’ll make it through; but remember, our faithful God is so faithful and walks the same road with us. He’s rich in mercy! He’s compassionate in care, and perfect in love. His eye is on you and You are highly favoured in His economy. He heals! He mends! He repairs and He protects and that’s what we need today for sure. Yeah, just one big heap of it all to take it’s place right in our midst and give us a springboard to propel us on for His glory! So, beautiful soul, whatever has you down ~ whatever has come a calling that wasn’t asked for, you might not realize it yet, but it’s been perfected just for you and customized just for your needs today. He’s got it. Enjoy God’s faithfulness through it and let Him direct your path. Be blessed under His divine protection through the testing time and watch His miracles unfold.
“God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation.”

“The grasslands of the wilderness become a lush pasture and the hillsides blossom with joy.”
Psalm 65: 12
So, we’re all in this together ~ you and I. There’s a new day a dawning! The morning comes and brings its moments with it. Little moments, big moments, happy and sad moments and so many moments that we have to encounter along the way. We can choose to make the best of them or we can give up the fight and crumble beneath them. We can sit and toss it all through our minds with worry while we miss the blessings or we can simply trust God for the outcome and enjoy the minutes as they present themselves.
A bad hair day after the bath 🙂
So yes, beautiful you ~ Here we sit ~ together ~ you and I, in our little corners of the world ~ our far corners of the world, each with our stuff and some happiness and some heaviness of heart. Financial pressure, friends, relationships, church issues, work related situations, ministry situations, family issues, time pressures, kid problems and the list is long and the battles very real in our little worlds. But, it’s also a new day to praise the Lord ~ and beautiful soul ~ it’s a new day to be thankful in that heart of yours for all that you have and all that God will do for you today. There are sweet miracles tucked into unhappy corners and hopeless corners and tight spots that you just want to disappear from your life and dissipate into oblivion. So ~ stand firm, hold fast, and hang on to the promises of God! Claim the victory. Walk on undaunted by the unexpected events that may come along to discourage and defeat. Ask God for His direction in this moment and toss the worries aside to find the joy of divine miracles in your journey with God today. Going deeper with Him allow Him to serenade you with sweet serendipitous through the daily moments. Look under the rocks, the stones and the just plain difficult places! You just might find something awesome directly from His hand! That’s what he does! I love how He does it!
Psalm 72:18
“Praise be to the LORD God, the God of Israel, who alone does marvelous deeds.”
Psalm 77:14
“You are the God who performs miracles; you display your power among the peoples.”
Little Thoughts For Big Days
So, the voice of the Holy Spirit nudges you and whispers a promise into your beautiful soul. It’s just the thing you needed for the moment and the issue at hand. You believe it and say “Thank you” and feel ‘over – loved’ with a rich, deep, divine love and overwhelmed that God would give such a voice of direction and confident assurance to such a one as you. It’s so real, and to believe at the moment seems so easy!
The days go by and the answer appears to be on hold and the circumstances? Well, they’re just so contrary to the promise and so another voice begins it’s ascent and bombards your life and steals your assurance. It’s that powerful little voice of fear that torments and tugs and pulls and God’s voice and that other little voice compete for your attention. Do we trust what we don’t see or begin to lose heart and hope? I often wonder how Noah must have felt when God told him to build the ark and entrusted him with such great responsibility with no rain or flood warnings in the forecast. Those looking on mocked and ridiculed much like our enemy does with us. “Stupid man”, “Crazy person”, “Mad man”, “Idiot” “What on earth are you thinking?” can’t you just imagine the words and name calling from Noah’s accusers? Yet Noah trusted God through the Thick and Thin and kept building and kept trusting God’s promise of divine safety through the perils ahead.
We serve an awesome God and a Sovereign God, who doesn’t lie and doesn’t lead us astray or off track, so when the promise and the circumstances just don’t seem to jive, trust God anyway. Stand firm on the promise and claim it right down to it’s nitty, gritty fine detail and intricate workings! If God said it, believe it in spite of…. He’ll work it out through the thick and thin of it all. He’ll work it out through the impossible and all the illusive dreams that we feel we chase seemingly to the end of the rainbow. And ahh yes ~ It’s there beautiful soul, where God’s miracle awaits. The rainbow speaks of God’s covenant to Noah and future generations. It speaks of His promises and miracles and guidance. It’s what Noah saw after the the flood to cement God’s promise and rainbows of hope appear in our worlds and our hearts and our minds when God’s promises are fulfilled. Trust on now, and be at peace.
A reminder of God’s miracles and beautiful things ❤
Genesis 9:13, 14
"So God said to Noah, “I am going to put an end to all people, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. I am surely going to destroy both them and the earth. So make yourself an ark of cypress wood; make rooms in it and coat it with pitch inside and out."
Genesis 9:12 – 16
And God said, “This is the sign of the covenant I am making between me and you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all generations to come: I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth. Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life. Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth.”
So yeah, going deeper with God, we need a fresh touch today please! Make that one up on yesterday ~ a little richer, maybe just a little brighter ~ make it a full-out grace day! A day where God’s promises dot the journey with sweet flavors of serendipity!! A day where small prayers become reality and carry bright moments of positive miracles along the way. Oh we need it don’t we? We need those concrete stamps of approval for our treacherous days ahead. We so need them ~ Those “ahh” moments when we know it’s God and only His touch because only His divine, all-knowing mastermind and skilled hand could figure it out and create it beautiful the way it all came together for you once or twice or maybe more. Yeah, there will be the downers still, there always are. They just come out of a good moment and hit us when we least expect it! But today let’s look for the Ah’s and the graces, and the mercies, and the faithfulness, and the “God’s got it” moments, when we don’t have to worry our beautiful souls or concern our tired, weary minds ~ because Yes, God does have it and He has it safe and secure in His keeping. So for now, go deeper with God! Rest in His presence and let His light warm you! Let His grace fill you! Let His protection keep you and let His comfort give you peace.
2 Peter 3:18
“But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be glory both now and forever!”
