Your Crumbled World

So somedays it’s just hard to break through the clouds of all the stuff that carries extra weight on your soul. Right? Yeah those Anxious thoughts, disappointments, and that nerve in the pit of the stomach that works so relentlessly to drag you down to the lowest of lows does it’s job real good! Maybe it’s just physical exhaustion, weariness from sleepless nights or physical pain that’s just become your default, and even though you haven’t set it that way, and even though you wish you could switch the button, it just is what it is, and there’s nothing under the sun that you seem to be able to do about it. It’s just there, just like everything else is there that has made it’s mark and left you feeling empty in a bottomless world. The drop is deep, the canyon is wide, and a heavy heart just wants to give up. Well, There’s a whole lot of God’s compassion for just how you’re feeling right now and there’s a whole lot of His tender mercy just spreading over your table right now. Right there, right where you are. Take a minute to ponder His hand of blessing right there in the plight of your ‘all gone wrong world.” Take a moment to breathe in His grace ~ inhale deeply and exhale sweetly your praise to a Creator God who understands the deepest part of you, and knows what makes your world crumble and yet too, knows how to make your world rock. Breathe and bask in His grace for a moment of time and say with the Psalmist in Psalm 116: 1-6 “I love the Lord because He hears my voice and my prayer for mercy. Because He bends down to listen, I will pray as long as I have breath! Death wrapped it’s ropes around me, the terrors of the grave overtook me, I saw only trouble and sorrow. Then I called on the name of the Lord….How kind the Lord is! How good He is! So merciful, this God of ours!….Let my soul be at rest again. For the Lord has been good to me.”
The Psalmist knew of the goodness and the faithfulness of His God! Faithful to answer his prayer and so in his anxiety he gave thanks and praise to the only One who could help.
Beautiful soul, today, right now, bask in the holiness of the Sovereign God, let Him grace you with His unconditional love and unfailing mercy. Yeah, just give Him your praise and let Him rock your crumbled world back into sweet existence and shower you with peace

That’s what he does. I love how He does it. ❤

“I love you O Lord my strength. The Lord is my Rock, my Fortress and my Deliverer; my God is my Rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the Horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I call to the Lord who is worthy of praise, and I am saved from my enemies.”

When It’s Just All Wrong

Little Thoughts For Big Days
Little Thoughts For Big Days

So beautiful soul, when your day has taken a left turn and all the right has gone wrong, remember God loves you anyway and He’s not in favor of the wrong but He can bless you through it if you take your hands off and let Him work it out. Even though being thankful isn’t your top priority at the moment it’s your most powerful weapon of warfare. David experienced difficult situations yet he knew God was his strength and His powerful vindicator! He praised God through the hard times and thanked Him for His victory. Let God turn it around for you, even when all right has gone wrong.

Say from your heart with David as he writes in Psalm 30, “I will exalt you, O Lord, for you lifted me out of the depths and did not let my enemies gloat over me. O Lord my God, I called to you for help and you healed me. O Lord, you brought me up from the grave; you spared me from going down into the pit. . . . You turned my wailing into dancing; you have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy, that my heart may sing to you and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give you thanks forever”

In Psalm 30:1-12 David gives thanks to God following an obviously difficult situation. This psalm of thanksgiving not only praises God in the moment but remembers God’s past faithfulness. It is a statement of God’s character, which is so wonderful that praise is the only appropriate response. Find victory today! Enter into His peace today and find rest for your beautiful soul.

God Bless
