So today ~ this week, If and when insulted, bless back. When authority mistreats you, bless back. for in so doing you will be setting yourself up for blessing! We squander so much blessing with our need to have the last word, defend our rights or get even and when we defend ourselves we set our accuser up as our judge so, stay calm, be truthful and handle unfair treatment God’s way! Fade into the background and Let Him be your defense. He’s our Ancient Of Days and has been around since the beginning of time. He knows the end from the beginning and nothing slips by Him. He got your case from the inside out and He knows how to help you win it. So ~ toss your battle axe aside and put on your spiritual armor for you’re going to need it! Step out in faith protecting your mind with the powerful Sword of the Spirit, God’s Word ~ and do battle with love and peace ~ the believers most powerful weapons!

Ephesians 6: 10 -18
“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

So today, Wait “On” the Lord. Trust “In” the Lord, and Persevere “With” the Lord. It’s in Him that we find our salvation, our rest, our strength, our hope, our comfort and our peace. There is no other one ~ and no other way to make this journey of life work. It’s tough out there, in the work a day world, in the financial world and relationships? Well, forgiveness is just crucial, but difficult. The worlds in a mess and who knows what the government is up to? Persecution seems on the rise and you? ~ Well, you’ve just been side swiped again and just after you got back up on your feet from the last knock. Why is life so hard sometimes? Well, we aren’t promised the moon, but we are promised abundant life as we walk with God, living by His principles and we are promised Eternal Life if we believe in Him, standing firm in our faith through the thick and the thin. The path is narrow but do-able if we keep our focus on God’s way and our hand in His. He guides, He leads, He satisfies! So whatever your journey today ~ Wait ON, Trust IN, and Persevere WITH the Sovereign God in control of it all. Wow, what a privilege to be right here right now and what an amazing power is at our disposal through our God!

2 Chronicles 20:6 “O Lord, God of our fathers, are you not God in heaven? You rule over all the kingdoms of the nations. In your hand are power and might, so that none is able to withstand you.”

Zechariah 4:6 “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts.”

So now it’s time to just believe for that issue ~ for whatever it is that you’ve been praying for. Sometimes it feels like our prayers are inefficient and lacking impact doesn’t it? Well, let’s see as it is ~ We don’t get the big picture! God is a God of detail and nothing is done without perfection! His engineering skills and creative credentials are amazing and out this world with design so exquisite, that we can’t even fathom even in our most brilliant thoughts!

Consider the wilderness tabernacle that God designed and gave instructions for, with every small detail fashioned to precision art for a precise plan. The Tabernacle was a portable tent with a wooden framework to give it stability. The entire sanctuary was God’s perfect design and the beginning of the visible reminders of a Spiritual God and His plan. ~ not man’s! No, not one spec of man’s imagination was used in it’s architectural design, but it was all laid out with specific instructions to be followed at set up and take down on their journey and all through the pages of history God’s skill and perfect, organized plan for all things and all events has proven faithful and true. He hasn’t lost control and like the tabernacle, He has your problem in the palm of His hand and is laying out the perfect color scheme, floor plan and plan of action customized just for you ~ perfect for you! You are His tabernacle in your wanderings ~ wilderness or otherwise ~ for your journey of life. You are His design and your life is His plan! Allow Him to work in your issues and just believe today for His perfection over your concerns.

Heb 9:11
“But Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation.”

1 Cor 6:19
“Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?”

It’s a marvellous Monday and sure, you’ve just come through a weekend and maybe it wasn’t as you expected it to be either. Maybe it came with a few discouragements and disappointments along the way, just because life’s like that and just when you think it might be something good ~ it not so good after all. Yeah ~ A lot of ups and downs in this life and then Monday morning doesn’t help when it comes ushering in another week bringing more issues that were unplanned and expected. It’s the enemy’s attack to distract you from a thankful heart because thankfulness is our link to joy and peace. So ~ don’t let all the ‘stuff’ get in your way! Our enemy roams about seeking the weakened souls ~ those souls weakened by hurts, fears, and strife! He knows a thankful heart is a joy-filled one, so he’ll do anything he can to weaken that link ~ and take us down. Well my friends, God is greater, stronger, more powerful and more in control even of the little things than our enemy! He’s got you and He cares enough to use His “Faithfulness” credentials to get you through. So after the disappointments of the weekend and after the mundane, Monday morning blues, just rest in His peace that transcends all understanding! Don’t try to figure out Why anything? Just rest in simple trust! Find delight in His grace that meets you right there, right where you are ~ discouragement and all; and you, beautiful soul ~ rise to new strength and soar like the eagles with a thankful heart and a heart full of praise. God’s got your Monday and your new week. You can know it!

Isaiah 40:31
“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”
