Oh, couldn’t we all just use a heaping dose of God’s grace today~ right now ~ this moment? A tight wrap-a-round of His protective arms just covering us in our vulnerabilities strengthening us in our weaknesses and cheering us on in our insecurities?
Oh yeah, we need to go deeper with Him today. Go deeper into His ever-loving love and know that he cares even for the littlest of the little. All those fears that tug at the heart and all those insecurities that well up inside? He’s what we need for all that stuff! Those protective arms of our Almighty and Sovereign One stretched out over the cross for you, with a love so great no one can fathom it! No one can understand it! But you can know it was for you, just as you are, with no strings attached.
So today, reach out to the One who can take it all and speak peace into those dark corners of your world. Those places where anxieties lurk and rejections haunt and yeah those insecure places where any strengths go unnoticed. Today, right now,
“Come let us worship and bow down, Let us kneel before the Lord our Maker, for He is God. We are the people He watches over. The Flock under His care.”
Psalm 95: 6, 7.
Our Psalmist knew the Great King’s care. He was assured of His protection much like a shepherd protects his flock. The great creator of heaven and earth is our maker, so beautiful soul, in all of our vulnerable states, with all of our inadequacies and our insecurities and in those trying moments and fearful issues, sing with the Psalmist today as he sang in
Psalm 95:1, 2, 3, 4,
“Come let us sing to the Lord! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come to Him with thanksgiving. Let us sing Psalms of praise to Him. For the Lord is a great God. A Great King above all gods. He holds in His hands the depths of the earth.”
Yeah, so you can know today, right now, this moment, Those same hands took the nails and those same arms outstretched the cross to reach you, to hold you, to protect you, to carry you, to love you and to grace you. So lets you and I and we and us go deeper today into His presence and saturate in His most amazing grace!

Where’s the joy when the world’s in a mess and your world follows close behind in its messed up footsteps? The joy you knew yesterday took a dive into the deep and it kinda seems like it’s gone forever.
The Psalmist in Psalm 46 tells us, “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.”
Life happens! It’s just a long time to hold it all together, isn’t it? To do it right? To make it work? But there is comfort for your crumpled spirit and your misshapen world. If you make our Sovereign God your fortress, He’s in charge and He will be exalted in your situation and in your circumstances if you rest “Still” in Him and know that He is sovereign overall. Rest then today ~ right now ~ you who are broken, and in your brokenness just be still in Him.

Then the LORD said something most interesting,
Oh yes, you and I and we and us, How often do look back at the struggle that just past and although we didn’t see Him, we know that we know He was there, because it could have only been God that performed and orchestrated such amazing work in such perfected fashion? So, for you today, down in the dumps, needing desperately to see something from the LORD, hold on to hope and stay safely there in that dark spot; In that safe place protected right there until God is finished doing what He’s doing and when He takes away His hand then look! Then smile! Then be thankful for the dark that just passed over!
