A Kind Return

It’s kind of like giving grace out isn’t it? Sometimes, in the hard places it’s hard to give it but giving out kindness and being kind is kind of like giving out grace and being gracious! It’s not always easy in our humanness to give of it freely! It may fall on deaf ears and cynical hearts but it’s still a sincere kindness and a beautiful grace coming from a sincere heart, your sincere heart and so do it anyways. Yeah, go on and do the “reaching out” thing to someone in need. To someone who hurts or possibly hurts others because they themselves hurt. Hurt returns hurt, much like kindness returns kindness. But then, deep in hurt, a gentle spirit of kindness comes in, in a gentle way, to soften and heal. You can be that kindness that comes in to soothe and smooth out the jagged edge.

Sometimes the very hardest thing to do but the very kindest thing is to just pray kindness over the one in most need. It will move God’s hand of blessing over them and return to you multiplied! So yeah, you there, right there in the center of hurt, tears and anger, do a kind thing! Share a prayer of love and find it returning in twofold in a blessing of grace and healing upon your own beautiful soul.

“If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat, and if he is thirsty, give him water to drink. For in so doing, you will heap burning coals on his head, and the LORD will reward you.”

Wake Up Our Pulpits


I wonder if we, as believers, just sit in the church pews Sunday morning half asleep? Oh yeah, we sit and hear messages of social gospel and nice things and good people and how we can be good people, and how it’s good enough just to be good people. We hear how we can better help our world and our government by making good choices! Or perhaps we do hear powerful, Biblical sermons but yet not really hear the words nor be impacted enough to let them change our lives. We come, we smile, we chat, we go and we walk to our cars feeling like we’ve done our duty to attend and yeah we’ve given God His Sunday time, possibly our tithe, maybe even our talent but deep inside our hearts are empty, cold ~ and far from the Father, the Sovereign One who longs to have real fellowship with us. What is it we don’t get? What is we don’t understand? Time on this earth is so short yet we find all manner of fault, and judge from critical hearts calling the shots for others to put them in their place, while all the while our own problem/s goes undetected and unnoticed by our own heart. If we’re all in the same boat and for the same cause of Christ and His salvation, then why are we not all on the same page? It doesn’t make sense! Our own selfish, spiritual blindness is our downfall and our spiral downward. We are so easily deceived and don’t even recognize it.

It’s time to wake up our pulpits and shake up our sleepy souls for such a time as this, when our world reels out of order, under every manner of evil, under the power of our enemy, the father of lies.

God IS in control but His holiness can’t look upon the wicked sin that has infiltrated even into our churches because of hidden agendas, hearts, hardened in selfish ambition and compromising life styles. Truth is, as believers, God’s call on our heart is to be salt and light to a world in desperate need! God has given clear warning of judgment and we hear it but do we really hear? Are we getting it? Are we understanding the reality of it? The people of Noah’s day, didn’t get it and faced God’s judgment! They woke up when the rains began but it was too late for their salvation. The people of Sodom and Gomorrah didn’t get it and their wicked city was destroyed!

People of God ~ it is time to stand on holy ground without compromise and march the victory march with the Sovereign God whose deepest desire is to bring sinners into His Kingdom. To save them, forgive them, change them and renew their lives, through the power of His cleansing blood. Oh let it be our desire to reach out of of our comfort zones, and into the lives of needy souls, desperate for hope! Now is the time,people of God, to influence our world and share the Gospel message of salvation before the fire falls from heaven.

Our Faithful God


Somedays don’t we just feel like a broken record down here on this planet? We keep asking for the things we feel God has put on our hearts and we keep asking and asking, and asking. We see glimmers and then we don’t! We see help, and then we don’t. And we keep asking, seeking, and waiting for His answer. He’s delighted when we do, but a grateful heart for His faithfulness in the past is an awesome way to say thank you for the next miracle in His hand. Oh He’s so faithful isn’t He? He’s so faithful to stand by us and watch over us and care for us daily. One of my favorite verses found in Lamentations 2: 22, 23 reminds us of His mercies, new every morning, “The LORD’S loving-kindnesses indeed never cease, For His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.” Oh what a divine blessing to know this God of love and faithfulness at every turn of our lives.

Moses knew too, and was very aware of God’s faithfulness, when he penned a amazing reference for his God, to His people in Deuteronomy 32: 3,4, “I will proclaim the name of the Lord. How glorious is our God. He is The Rock! His work is perfect, For all His ways are just; A God of faithfulness and without injustice, Righteous and upright is He.” Oh yeah, he knew of God’s power. He had witnessed powerful miracles in the wilderness as he led the Israelites from slavery to freedom and ultimately to the brink of the promise; the land of milk and honey! He’d seen the power! He’d witnessed God’s hand of provision! He’d experienced the real – life impossible made possible. He knew, that he knew, that he knew His God was a dependable and an honest promise keeper. So, let’s you and I and we and us, remember we serve the same faithful God who is so trustworthy for the days ahead, in the hard places along the way.

Oh yeah, He’s faithful and when Timothy returned from Thessalonica with the good news that the church had not abandoned their faith because of dreadful opposition, but rather stood strong and continued in faith and love it was Good news to Paul’s ears and his first letter to the church in Thessalonica explodes with joy at such a confirmation. He closes off his letter in 1 Thessalonians 5:23, 24, with a blessing to believers confirming the promises of God. “Now may the God of peace make you holy in every way and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless until your Lord Jesus Christ comes again. God will make this happen, for He who calls you is faithful and He also will bring it to pass.”

Pray on beautiful soul for those things on your heart, and be thankful that we pray to a faithful God who hears, and keeps His word.

Our Crazy Mixed Up World


So there’s a whole lot of us wondering what’s going to happen next in our crazy, mixed up world. We’ve removed God from our schools and sadly invited the enemy inside when we made such a careless move. We’ve condoned the murdering of babies and called it a mother’s choice. We’ve legalized Sodom and Gomorrah behaviour in our civilized countries and called it human rights, while the normal world that once was able to speak up, now cowers in fear for their safety. Yeah, it’s some kind of serious perplexity that we live in, within our surroundings about now and wonder what’s up and what’s up next. Yeah, it’s time for those who call themselves believers to pray like never before to our Sovereign God, our Creator of the heavens and earth; to our God who knows it all! It’s time to pray earnestly for His powerful hand to move against the god of this world. Remember dear soul, prayer changes things. Prayer to a God who can change hearts, and renew lives will bring revival to a world in need. So you and I and we and us, let’s get moving through prayer. Let’s get the fire of revival spreading powerfully across our lands and through our countries through prayer to a God who is in complete control and will move in judgement against the evil that stalks us and haunts us. We need to be solidly grounded in our faith, so that nothing will shake us nor move us from it in the days ahead. We need an army of believers, believing the Truth. standing on the Truth, claiming and proclaiming the Truth and on the march for it’s power to be heard and seen across our nations. We need an army of believers praying for the Truth to be ignited within souls across our lands. Are you in?

Oh yeah, It has to begin within our own personal, beautiful soul before it can spread to others within our circles of influence. Now is the time to stand on holy ground and pray like we’ve never prayed before! To enter into powerful praise and worship to our Heavenly Father with holy hearts, holy lives and holy hands! It has to be a whole lot of real. We can’t speak for the truth and live a lie ‘cuz that’s ‘make believe’ and that doesn’t cut it on the spiritual battle field. Remember the enemy will not win here! God will move in judgement, so let’s grab the victory shirt and reach the finish line without fear! You are in right? ~k
