He is an awesome God, brilliant in His creativity! Even in our greatest thoughts of Him, He is greater still.
I love to see how He works in the lives of His people as He forgives, cleanses, renews and reconciles them to His Father. I love to see how He turns our rags to riches and intertwines His golden threads of grace, through our failures to make them something beautiful for His glory. That's what He does!! I love how He does it!
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
So you messed up again and this time really badly! God’s offer of grace still stands for that! Thing is, are you willing to accept it? Then just straight out accept it, but at the same time remember He’s not offering grace for a re-run but just for now! We can’t live with the idea that we can redo just because we’re covered by His grace. Yeah, I get it, that some things are just too difficult to give up and so we hang on to them but I also get that He understands our frailty. He really does! He knows the struggle of our weak and fleshly humanity and how easy it is to succumb to it’s pitfalls and fall into the traps so readily made available to us. Our weaknesses are just so relentlessly there all the time and If it happens again His grace will totally meet us right there once again for that time, just as it always does!
Let’s get it though that His desire and His grace is sufficient to totally free us once and for all from whatever has us bound tightly. Accept His grace for that too! His grace totally exceeds the darkness of this wretched world and covers anything we could ever do. We have to want it to cover us though, so decide today to renew your heart and your mind with His help. Let’s change directions in our mind, heart and souls and be freed from the pitfalls that take us down!
“…But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound.” — Romans 5:20
Shalom and PEACE to you today! A generous gifting from our Lord to us. Yeah, Jesus, Our Prince of Peace came to share it with us. His sweet peace is not as the world gives but it’s a sense of well being within ourselves. It comes from our willingness to change and repent and do a turn about of direction. To walk with Him in His salvation and in His ways of abundance. It comes from our trust in our Prince of Peace, the sweet Savior of the broken and hurting and those beaten and scarred and torn up by sin’s choices.
“Shalom” may His favor rest on you today as you seek Him and find healing in Him for such a time as this.
The LORD bless you, and keep you; The LORD make His face shine on you, And be gracious to you; The LORD lift up His countenance on you, And give you peace.’” – Numbers 6:23-26
We love to give the presents, but the giver of the Best gift, the Christ Child, is the only One in whose presence we find Hope! 2 Corinthians 6:2 2 “For He says, “In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.” I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation.” #HopeinHispresence#Advent
