Confused about where you should be and when, and just what it is that God has for you to do anyway? Do you wonder why He seems so slow and why answers don’t come quickly or maybe don’t come at all? At least not in black and white or simple and straight forward? Sometimes it seems like ten baby steps ahead and then five giant steps backwards. What on earth is going on? Why is life so difficult and moving forward so extremely painful?
Ho hum seasons are our calling as they lead us deeper into spiritual maturity! just keep moving faithfully, doing what you do to fulfil commitments and schedules. Make sure to rest to prevent burn out, but “rest assured” that God still leads in the giant steps backwards as well as the baby steps forward. He will fulfil His purpose in your life regardless of how useless and unimportant you feel. He refreshes parched souls and increases strength with His power. Everything you experience is customized just for your needs and He’ll make it work for you if you let Him. He may ultimately guide you through ten giant steps forward. Be refreshed and ready when He does.

Hope and Healing In Hard Places 
I think moving forward is sometimes difficult because we don’t always let go of the past; we allow it to pull us back in giant steps. The encouraging thing is that we are tethered to God with an unbreakable connection and can never get lost in the past. He will always gather us back to Him.

A beautiful thought Patricia and so much the way we are. We, in our humanness tend to be our own worst enemy at times as we fight to let go of things, like fear and disappointment. Our blessing is, that in all of these things, God is still guiding us along as He uses our insecurities and weaknesses to develop our character. I don’t know how he brings it altogether for everyone as if we’re the only one on His mind but He does. He customizes our life. That’s what I love about His leading. Nothing is ever wasted! ❤
